The AI never invents figures. It surfaces and explains strategies and can look up guidance, but all math runs through the rule-based calculator. If a value is uncertain during intake, Tax Alpha flags it for your review instead of filling it in.

Individual returns (Form 1040) and S-Corporations (Form 1120-S), including K-1 generation and basis tracking. You can combine an individual's 1040 with their business entity into a single, unified plan, across multiple years.

Which tax law and states are covered?

Federal, California, and Idaho, using current 2025 constants and the OBBBA (One Big Beautiful Bill Act, P.L. 119-21) changes to thresholds, the SALT cap, the standard deduction, and bonus depreciation. Additional states are on the roadmap.
